There are four sub-projects within the 6GSMART project. Eviden is working in 6GSMART-ICC. Within it there are two work packages; Eviden is in WP2 (6G continuous cloud in manufacturing environments, from the perspective of a cloud technology developer).
6GSMART project goal is to advance in the use of 5G/6G networks and technologies, such as private networks, time sensitive networks, AI and cloud continuum to manufacturing under the Industry 4.0 paradigm. 6GSMART-ICC subproject focuses on the application of the Cloud-continuum concept to the Industrial environments. Within this subproject there are two main objectives: study and develop the orchestration mechanisms needed to implement the cloud-continuum principles to the manufacturing environments, and to study how to integrate the public and private domains in the same environment.
